schoolwide avid binder requirements

Students will keep one large 3-ring binder for all of their classes.

Materials should be organized in the following order.
  • Pencil pouch (pens, pencils, highlighters, sticky notes)
  • KMMS agenda book
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Tab dividers (one per subject, labeled)
  • Cornell notes, handouts, assessments, etc. should be placed BEHIND each labeled tab divider

If you are using Interactive Notebooks for your class and students are able to clip those in their binder, they can keep their notebook in that class's section. If you are using composition books for your Interactive Notebooks, students should have a page protector to keep that notebook in their binder as well.
